mellifluous couture sample sale, the wrist & pistols September 24, 2005

Recently remodeled Sodafine boutique is celebrating its new look on Saturday, September 24 by hosting Philadelphia?s Wrist & Pistols for an evening of music, cocktails and general gaiety. Festivities begin at 7 pm with the Wrist & Pistols performance at 8pm. (some girl named Daphne says of wrist & pistols on her blog: themusicissue.blogspot.com, ?- totally gorgeous, dark blend of instruments, mostly beautiful three part harmonies and snaky little theatrical asides to their old timey style music?)
Also on September 24 from 12-8pm is a Mellifluous Couture sample sale, separates originally priced $50-120 are now $25-40 dresses $90-180 are now $40-65. Mellifluous Couture designs are handmade by Erika Rier and draped individually for an excellent fit, unlike clothing made from flat patterns. Rier?s distinctive combinations of patterned and textured fabrics make each garment a work of art.
