The Committee for Immigrants' Amnesty and Social Justice presents the 2007 May Day Rally and March
Last year, more than 65,000 people flooded downtown Seattle in support of immigrants' rights. Many immigrants and sympathetic Seattleites walked off their jobs to join the march. This year, more than 75 U.S. cities expect significant marches for immigrants' rights again on May 1.
The rally will start at the Seattle Center, Fisher Pavilion, at 2:00 PM. At approximately 4:15 PM the march will start on the following route:
* From the Seattle Center North on 5th Avenue to Union Street
* West on Union Street to 4th Avenue
* North on 4th Avenue to Broad Street back to the Seattle Center grounds
