Max Richter and string quintet perform "Songs from Before" (2006) and new album "24 Postcards in Full Colour" (2008). Bing and Ruth will open with original compositions by David Moore.

Following last year's sell-out event for Wordless Music at the Good-Shepherd Faith Church, UK composer and producer Max Richter returns to New York for three special nights to launch his new album "24 Postcards in Full Colour." One of today's most visionary artists, Max Richter's work includes concert music, a series of records and film scores, as well as numerous collaborations with artists from other media. He has released four highly acclaimed albums, and recent film scores include Ari Folman's "Waltz with Bashir" (official selection at this year's Cannes Film Festival), "Henry May Long" (Randall Sharp), and "Hope" (Stanislaw Mucha). His music can be heard in the documentary "In God's Name," produced and directed by Jules and Gedeon Naudet, makers of the landmark 9/11 documentary. Max is also a regular collaborator with other artists across many genres, such as Vashti Bunyan, Roni Size, Future Sound of London, and installation artist Tristan Sharps.
