A person should drink on Purim until the point where they can't tell the difference between "Blessed is Mordechai" and "Cursed is Haman."

Birthright Israel NEXT Denver is proud to announce the second annual Purim Party. Join us as we dance the night away in light of the ancient holiday of Purim.

So what is this holiday? During the rule of the ancient Persian Empire, the royal vizier, Haman, of King Ahasuerus planned to kill the Jews. Thanks to a beautiful woman named Esther, this Jewish holiday commemorates the deliverance of the Jewish people from Haman's plan of extermination. Purim is one of the most celebrated and joyous holidays in Jewish culture.

On Purim, we drink to life -- "L'chaim" -- with the knowledge that all our troubles are temporary. Get loose, get silly and Get Groggy with Birthright Israel NEXT Denver! Evading annihilation has never been this fun.
