Market & Duboce
San Francisco, California 94114

Market Street Railway will open up the gates of their restoration yard?the David L Pharr Historic Streetcar Facility?for our fifth annual Open House celebration. They'll be offering free access to the yard at Market & Duboce Streets, where kids of all ages will be free to climb aboard the handful of streetcars on site, including Muni's latest acquisition PCC No. 1080*, and the cars currently under restoration, Market Street Railway Co. trolley No. 798, and Moscow/Orel tram No. 106. Market Street Railway directors and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and talk about the future of the organization and its mission, and also about the F-line, and the forthcoming E-line.

$5 Short Run Charters
Attendees will also be able to buy special short run charter tickets for $5, good for two rides off the beaten path: they'll be running the Melbourne Wonder from Down Under No. 496* out past Dolores Park on the J-Church tracks, and through the Sunset Tunnel into Cole Valley on the N-Judah tracks. Every child 12 and under who rides the charters will receive a special kids pack of goodies, including an activity book, conductor's cap, keychain, balloons and more.

In addition to this, they'll have coloring contests for the kids, free popcorn, and brand new merchandise for sale. Mark your calendars, and bring your friends and children for an afternoon of fun among San Francisco's Museums In Motion.

Location
The Market Street Railway restoration yard, known as Pharr Division, is located at Market & Duboce Streets, right off of the F-line, between the Safeway plaza and the US Mint.
