Martin Luther King Youth Prayer Breakfast January 18, 2010

This event is sponsored by the NWA Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Planning Committee and King Team. The purpose of this event is to allow youth to come together in prayer and reflect on how the meaning behind Dr. King's dream has affected their lives. There will be several youth speakers to talk about freedom, equality, and justice for all. The youth will go to the University of Arkansas HPER building at 9:30 a.m. to engage in recreational games such as basketball and volleyball. The University of Arkansas Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams will be facilitating the basketball game and the UA Volleyball Team will facilitate a volleyball game with youth in the NWA community.
