Martin Luther King Day of Service 2010- HOPE worldwide TriState Chapter January 18, 2010

HOPE worldwide Tri-State Chapter and the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey will be hosting its 3rd annual Martin Luther King Day of Service in Newark, NJ on Monday January 18, 2010 from 8am-1pm.

Volunteers will be canvassing a designated area educating households on the importance of fire safety by handing out pamphlets in and around the Ironbound section of Newark. All volunteers will be provided a light breakfast, lunch and a live concert featuring the N Result Band. If you would like to volunteer, the outreach canvassing will take place from 8am-11:30am and lunch and entertainment will take place from 12pm-1pm. The event is sponsored by PSE&G. All ages welcome!
