Martin Luther King -- Abraham Joshua Heschel Interfaith Service January 18, 2010

The 13th annual interfaith service honoring the friendship of the civil rights leader and the Jewish rabbi and theologian, who marched together at Selma and shared the pulpit at Riverside Church to denounce the Vietnam War. The Award fOR Interfaith Activism will be given this year to global acivist Ruth Messinger of the American Jewish World Service, which fights sickness, poverty and discrimination worldwide.
