First violinist of the world-renowned Tokyo String Quartet, Martin Beaver remains one of Canada`s violin ambassadors to international concert stages. An active musician for recitals and orchestral and quartet performances, his membership with the Tokyo Quartet sees Martin performing an extensive schedule that exceeds 80 concerts each season. The October 25th program will feature the `masterly` (The New York Times) Garrick Ohlsson on piano and will include a series of works by Beethoven. There will be a pre-concert talk at 7 pm with Yale University`s Michael Friedman.
