Maria Callas and Swarovski: Jewels on Stage at the Metropolitan Opera February 14, 2007

The Metropolitan Opera will be the site for an exhibit of the legendary Swarovski jewelry worn by the legendary opera star, Maria Callas. Throughout her career, Maria Callas turned to Swarovski to create exceptional pieces of stage jewelry for her performances. Restored to its full splendor, her stunning collection can be seen for the first time in the United States in this special exhibit. The exhibit features more than 40 pieces made of Swarovski crystals and will be displayed alongside archival photos and other Callas memorabilia.
