Marguerite Wildenhain was one of the founding members of Pond Farm, an art school and community established in the woods above Guerneville in 1939. Many of its members were political refugees from Nazi Germany who had emerged from the great Bauhaus movement of the early 1900s. Wildenhain herself was a renowned potter of international reputation who remained at Pond Farm even after the other original members scattered. She died there in 1985. A unique collection of her work has come to the Sonoma County Museum through multiple gifts.

Help keep the election fair, honest and fun by becoming a precinct worker... it pays, you meet your neighbors, you get training in Deibold machines. Contact your local county Registrar of Voters.

Hi, do you list any events in Sacramento on here, or is just stuff from the Bay Area and D.C. ?

Thanks,
Alicia

I've put together a voting guide for the San Mateo County Democratic ballot, based on my own thoughts & research, at:

You don't have to listen to me, but please do some resarch before voting. As usual, it gets harder to find real information as we get closer to election day.
