March of Dimes Foundation's 14th annual Signature Chefs Auction November 5, 2009

The March of Dimes will hold the 14th annual Signature Chefs of Dallas auction Thursday, November 5, 2009. This year’s event, entitled A Culinary Constellation will take place at the Fairmont Hotel. Chef Kent Rathbun will lead the team of 19 signature chefs providing exquisite food tastings and fine wine while guests enjoy the silent and live auction featuring unique auction packages prepared by each participating signature chef.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. when guests will taste delicious chef samplings and signature cocktails and have the opportunity to bid on spectacular items in the silent auction. At 8 p.m., the program and live entertainment begins, and guests can take part in the exciting live auction. This year’s event is sponsored by Comerica Bank.

The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy to save babies and in 2003 launched a campaign to address the increasing rate of premature birth.
