March for DC Voting Rights in DC’s JULY 4th PARADES July 4, 2006

Join DC Vote Staff, supporters and volunteers as DC Vote marches in the Palisades and 8th Street Parades.
DC Vote appears for the seventh year at the Palisades 4th of July Parade. Line up for the parade begins at 10:15 AM at the intersection of Whitehaven Parkway and MacArthur Boulevard, NW. The parade will begin promptly at 11:00 AM and proceed north up MacArthur Boulevard to the Palisades Park.
DC Vote also appears at the 8th Street 4th of July Parade. Line up for the parade begins at 9:00 AM at the Eastern Market Metro Stop. The parade will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and proceed down 8th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.
Be sure to wear your DC Vote "Taxation Without Representation" t-shirts. DC Vote will provide a t-shirt for new volunteers who have not yet received one. Community service credit is available.
