As the sun sets over Mt. Tamalpais, and the lawns of beautiful Peacock Gap Country Club, we will gather for the ancient practice of kirtan, a 'call and response' chant form based in the repetition of a Mantra or sound cell. The vibrational quality of these sounds awakens our spiritual essence.

Following the kirtan led by Suzanne Sterling, and a performance by Alex Theory, ignite the dancefloor with global funk electronic rhythms. Then DJ Dragonfly takes us on a magic carpet ride of sound textures and tribal beats bringing us to a climatic communal experience.

Plus a special "COSMIC DANCE" by Jim Berenholtz, ritualistic snake dancer, a unique performance ritual that brings yoga asanas and mudras together with a hypnotic dance accompanied by live snakes. The scene will be set in the chill space by the smooth sounds of world caravans played by Todd Boston.

The Mantra Lounge is FREE for Yoga For Health conference attendees, $15 for the general public.
