DanceWorks is pleased to present the Toronto premiere of Manga choreographed by the award-winning Serge Bennathan. A subtle yet ferocious new duet that echoes the sense of continuous motion found in Japanese comic books, Manga features superb dancers Susie Burpee and Linnea Swan. Manga explores the triangular relationship of physicality, space and the purity of the piano, unveiling the dancer's inner elegance in this poetic ode to creation.
