Beginning in Spring 2008, OHSU will launch a new track in its Management in Science & Technology M.S. degree program--Managing in the Bioscience Industry. The first course in this new track is Managing the Medical Product Lifecycle. In this course you will learn how a bioscience product moves from idea to development to market. Specific topics include:
Unique scientific, regulatory and quality requirements "just to get in the game"
Identifying medical customers and their buying motivations
Product definition and development
Product adoption challenges and success strategies
Diverse distribution channels present in the medical products industry.

Information Session--Learn More About This New Course

On Tuesday, March 18, the MST Department will host an information session for anyone wanting to learn more about the course. The instructor, Phil Benz, will give an overview of the course and answer questions.

This session will be in the OHSU/OGI Wilson Clark Center, Room 371 (building 3 on the Campus Map. The session begins at 5:30 PM, and refreshments will be served.
