In this big screen version of the stage musical featuring the songs of ABBA, Donna is the mother to Sophie, who's on a quest to discover the identity of her father on the eve of her wedding. Donna owns a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island and when three men from her past arrive unexpectedly it is a trip down memory lane that no one will ever forget.

The Summer experience continues with a showing of 10 movies on Thursday evenings starting at sundown (approximately 8:45pm). Other Events at Downtown Redwood City's 2009 Summer Series
Along with Movies on the Square, other exciting FREE evening events include: Music on the Square on Fridays, Dancing on the Square on Tuesdays, and Jazz on Main St. on Mondays. Other ongoing events in the coming months include six special outdoor exhibits featuring Art on the Square, Monday and Wednesday afternoon performances with Lunchtime on the Square Sunday Swing Dancing with Lindy on the Square as well as weekend Shakespeare performances, Sunday Target Family Days, and Cultural Events.
