Dennis Rice has worked in human services in a variety of hospital and community-based settings for the past 35 years. Since 1979, Mr. Rice has served as Executive Director of Alternatives Unlimited, Inc., a non-profit re/habilitation agency located in central Massachusetts. He led the steady growth of Alternatives from its original three programs to a comprehensive agency of more than 40 programs, with a budget of $22 million spread over a large, rural area. As Director, Dennis is overseeing a $9 million historic renovation of the Whitin Mill on the Mumford River, Alternatives campus. When finished, the campus will be heated and cooled by four geothermal wells, energy will be harnessed through photovoltaic solar panels, and hydro-electric power will be drawn from the Mumford River. In the end, those technologies will enable Alternatives to generate 80 percent of its electricity and 100 percent of its heating and cooling needs by using hydroelectric power, photovoltaic solar panels and geothermal wells.

Gradie Winslow is co-founder of Ink Again, an inkjet cartridge and laser toner cartridge supplier, who helps their customers refill their used cartridges. Refilling catridges reduces toxic landfill waste, as well as reduce the raw materials used to manufacturing and distribution of new products. Every year, millions of cartridges end up in landfills, putting plastic and other toxic non-bio-degradable waste into our environment.

The Next Level Executives is a membership-based organization focused on helping its members take their business to the next level, as defined by them. The group meets twice monthly. Visitors are welcome to join the public meetings once per month as we host speakers and discussions on different business topics. Public meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Private meetings are also conducted where members discuss their challenges and goals in a confidential members-only meeting.

Membership is exclusive per business type and prospective members are screened using an application process. All prospective members must attend two events before applying, as well as individually meet with a minimum of four current members. Prospective members should be committed to growing their business in a significant way, and must demonstrate a "business-owner" mindset.
