Make/shift Magazine Issue 2 Release Reading & Celebration October 10, 2007

Make/shift is a dynamic feminist magazine featuring the creative and critical voices of artists, activists, and scholars from around the world. Join us as we celebrate the release of issue two, featuring INCITE!, new fiction by Myriam Gurba, and discussions of blowing the muse, bowing before the performance artist, dangerous silences, immigration raids, feminist art, trans representation, and more! The event will be hosted by make/shift’s editorial and publishing collective and will feature readings by Stephanie Abraham, Myriam Gurba, Erin Aubry Kaplan, and Dean Spade. Admission is free. All ages.
