Make-A-Wish Foundation Croquet International and Charity Auction May 19, 2007

The graceful and picturesque croquet lawns and vineyards of Sonoma-Cutrer are the backdrop for this unique event where hundreds of wine, croquet and food enthusiasts don their "croquet whites" to be part of this spring ritual in wine country. The day begins with a Savory Tasting of elegant hors d'oeuvres and extraordinary wines while guests watch a professional croquet tournament: The North American Open. Then guests head courtside for a gourmet lunch and cheer on the "Dueling Vintners," during an entertaining Sonoma vs. Napa croquet match. During lunch, the excitement continues with a spirited live auction featuring an outstanding catalog of wine, specialty items, and unique travel excursions. A Sweet Tasting of desserts, and dancing to live music on the Terrace round out this perfect afternoon.
