For decades big business has had access to top
level researchers and tomorrows thought leaders at North
America's colleges and universities by funding their
projects. Now it's time for firms of all sizes to take
advantage of this otherwise un-affordable option made a
reality the MAGIC and WD partnership. Join us at the
University of British Columbia for an informative and
exploratory evening. We will present our latest research
projects in the general New Media field via a lab based
tour. The presentations given in our labs will show a
variety of New Media related topics ranging from
interactive video installations, large public display
systems to mobile distributed multimedia services and
applications. So, if you are interested in new technologies
that constitute the core of future multimedia developments
then this workshop is the one for you.
