You may be interested to know about www.kahst.com - it's an online prediction contest (aka: kahst).

People can play these kahsts and see how they rank against others. Also, anyone can setup a kahst – you may wish to set up kahsts on issues and events that matter to you.

For example, for MacWorld you can create kahsts to see if people can predict what new products Apple will introduce. There are already a few Apple kahsts on the site.
