The Lakewood Cultural Center presents “Lure of Alaska” at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17 in the intimate 316-seat theater at 470 S. Allison Parkway at Wadsworth Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue. Senior, student, child and group discounts are available. There is plenty of free, well-lit parking on-site.

Johnson will personally present “Lure of Alaska.” Shot in high-definition, widescreen format, this film captures the panoramic landscapes one would expect to find in such a vast, untouched wilderness. Because of his keen interest in wildlife and his photographic ability, Johnson has been profiled in National Wildlife magazine and his film production for the U.S. Forest Service won a Gold Medal at the New York International Film Festival.
