Lung Walk May 30, 2009

Come join the American Lung Association and hundreds of Hoosiers on Saturday, May 30th at The Monon Center in Carmel for the annual Lung Walk. Proceeds from the event will go directly to support local lung disease programs and life-saving research. Participants can walk in teams of family and friends or form corporate teams. Registration is free to all participants, but fundraising is encouraged. Beginning at 9:00 am, the event will kick off with live music, free breakfast, complimentary therapeutic massages, games for the kids and education booths. The actual walk is a 5K, but there is also a 1 mile route for individuals with lung disease or other health complications and families with small children. After the walk, the festivities will continue. All registered participants will receive free admission into The Monon Center’s outdoor water park that day as well!
