Be the first to get a sneak peek at the new works of Lula Washington Dance Theatre, the South LAdance company internationally recognized for its theatrical fusion of power, pain, flavor, and funk!  The program offers audiences an up-close-and-personal opportunity to check out this Los Angeles-based company’s soulful, versatile style and chat with the choreographers themselves. Come be entertained, enlightened, and empowered all at once! The concert is part of Lukman’s Inside View series, which lets spectators in on the creative process through intimate viewings and question and answer sessions. The LWDT program gives plenty to talk about with its exciting range of classic, recent, and premiering works set to music as varied as Johann Sebastian Bach; Jimi Hendrix; and James Brown. Audiences will be swept up in the multi-cultural ensemble’s non-stop energy as they soar, shimmy, leap, and crump through everything from 18^th century Europeto the American sixties to a tennis court in the New Millennium.  $30.
