Luciana Souza hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she grew up in a family of Bossa Nova innovators who wrote hit tunes for Joao Gilberto and Elis Regina. Since moving to the U.S. and hooking up with the best jazz players in New York City, Souza has released three successful albums and earned praise for her stage presence.
