Lucero's material covers a desolate map of the human spirit, marked along the way by lost cowboys, doomed relationships, bad habits and broken promises. Ironically, the translation of the group's Spanish name means 'bright star.' Son of country troubadour and namesake Bobby Bare, this alt-country artist earned a Grammy nomination when he was five and has since earned accolades for leading the raucous southern rock group, Bare Jr. Now, he steps out on his own as a solo artist. This band, hailing from Gainesville, FL, plays country and Southern rock.
