Love & Joy through Music & Dance January 27, 2007

The Lions Club Kuching Ixora and International Music House (IMH) proudly presents a charity concert entitled "Love & Joy through Music & Dance". In purchasing tickets and contributing to the charity fund, Kuchingites will be helping improve the quality of life of the local community, and at the same time, experience international quality arts right in the city.

The concert feature dancers from Halili-Cruz School of Ballet - The most outstanding bellet school in Asia. They will be presenting beautifully choreographed performances of ballet, tap, jazz and folk dances.

IMH and its sister companies - the Ballet & Dance House and IMH Academy, in turn, will be displaying the best of Kuching and Sarawak in the Arts, with performances by the IMH Symphonic Orchestra, the IMH Choir, the IMH Junior Orchestra and IMH Academy Ethnica (featuring Sarawakian music and dances).

The event will help raise funds for the good work carried out by volunteers of the Lions Club Kuching Ixora for projects like SightFirst II, Health & Drug Awareness, Education, Community Service, Youth Outreach Programmes, work to improve the environment, and other community services that will benefit the needy and less fortunate.
