Louder Than Words Dancetheatre presents Tempus Fugit, an evening of modern and jazz works exploring themes of time and perception. Artistic Director/Choreographer Chris Harris, revisits and re-works some previous pieces and premieres several new works. Challenging audiences to look at dance in new ways, Tempus Fugit, promises to be an evening you won’t soon forget.
Tempus Fugit opens on January 7 at the Denver School of the Arts Studio Theatre, 7111 E. Montview Blvd., Denver,and performs on Friday and Saturday, for two weekends only, through January 15. Performance time is 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited. Tickets are $15 Adults and $12 Students (with ID) & Seniors. Chris Harris, Artistic Director and Choreographer, was born in Denver and has a BFA in Dance from the University of Colorado and a second degree in Architecture. She is currently an Artist in Residence at the Denver School of the Arts; and on the faculty of Dance Kaleidoscope and A Living Arts Centre. She has choreographed for local theaters; been a guest lecturer at The Arts Institute of Colorado and CSU; designed many websites; and is a co-director of the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop, the Assistant Artistic Director of Interweave Dancetheatre and the Artistic Director/Choreographer Colorado Youth Dance Theatre in Denver.
