Lost in the Wilderness August 8, 2009

Are you gearing up for that big summer backpacking trip and a little rusty on your orienteering skills? Or would you just like to learn more about how to navigate in the wilderness? We will be reviewing and testing our skills with the compass, chaining, map reading and using the GPS. This course will be part indoors and part outdoors. Please bring GPS and compass if you have one, otherwise we will have some loaners. Bring water and wear weather-appropriate hiking attire. Maximum-12 participants. Pre-registration required.
