Residing in Ireland, the Travellers are a traditionally nomadic clan with a deep sense of communal pride - notably, when a conflict arises between clan members, the dispute is settled by rounds of bare-knuckle fighting. In a feat of dogged persistence, documentarian Ian Palmer followed and filmed the Travellers for 12 years, becoming familiar with their traditions and close with the people. “Disturbingly raw, yet compulsively engaging.” – Sundance Film Festival 2011.
