Loopt Presents: Discover the Music Around You January 15, 2011

HP, Universal Music Group and Loopt are continuing a series of “Discover the Music Around You” parties for 2011. The two parties will be in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Just like at our NY and Atlanta parties, there will be exclusive listening opportunities, and HP will be giving away some hot UMG music downloads and other prizes.

SAN FRANCISCO

When: Saturday January 15th, 9:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Where: City Nights 715 Harrison St. in San Francisco, CA 94107

What: The first party will be at City Nights where we will be part of their ongoing series, "Guess Who is Performing." This is a really fun night with a surprise guest performer. Past performers have included Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber and Too Short. These are sell-out nights with 1300 club goers 18 + and have to turn away close to 500…it's off the hook. GET HERE EARLY!!

MUSIC: Featured music will include sneak previews of the new Ghostface Killah album, “The Apollo Kids,” as well as some new album releases from Island Def Jam records by NeYo, Rihanna, Kanye, Redman and Duffy.

PLAYTIME: On-site, there will be a Surprise Performer, great music, an HP e-printer photo wall and an HP Envy laptop with on board Beats Audio demonstrated at interactive stations, where attendees can play with the technology, print pictures and listen to music.

NEED TO KNOW: No cover charge and no dress code for this venue. Must be at least 18 years old to attend.
