Each September, leading travel media company Lonely Planet celebrates National Passport Month (http://www.gotpassport.com), the purpose of which is to encourage Americans to get their passport and to get out and see the world. With only 25% of Americans holding a passport, Lonely Planet wants Americans to get their passports and LEAVE!

This year the company is teaming up with Roadtrip Nation (http://www.roadtripnation.com) who has been touring the US by RV for the past three years. Started by a group of friends who hit the road after graduation to interview leaders who had defined their own paths, Roadtrip Nation has evolved into an annual PBS Documentary Series, student movement, grassroots books, and educational programs – all of which share the stories of how others discovered their own open roads.

In the fall, Roadtrip Nation will premiere a new television series on PBS and release a new book, Roadtrip Nation: a guide to discovering your path in life.

We will be screening the documentary that evening, and Lonely Planet travel experts and members of the Roadtrip Nation crew will be there to talk travel and answer any questions. Refreshments provided.
