Hays Galleria Mall (Near London Bridge Tube Stop)
London, England

At our meetups, we chat, drink coffee and build up enough of a comfort level with each other to see if we feel like reading.

Short stories are passed around for others to read, as well as poems etc. If you want people to vet your writing please bring copies to share. Emails are exchanged so longer pieces can be read and feedback given.

I've created a forum for us to discuss our writing in an environment more suited to ongoing discussions. This is the preferred alternative to the discussion forum on meetup, as I find the functionality limiting.

The web address for this forum is: http://londonwriters.sunheadweb.com/

What we're trying to do is to get the group to an active critiquing pool. I think though, people are more comfortable doing that when they meet each other first and get a 'feel of' each other before they expose their work. At least, I need it and others have echoed the sentiment.

All are welcome to bring their work if they want to share, but there's no pressure to do so. If you want to read, you can read. If you want to listen, you can do so.

Thanks a lot for the interest folks.
