London Symphony Orchestra, Valery Gergiev, conductor March 25, 2009

This iconic orchestra, once conducted by such towering figures as Elgar, Britten, Bernstein and Abbado, has now placed the brilliant Russian conductor Valery Gergiev at its helm. Exciting doesn’t begin to describe it.
