Sizzling soulstress Lizzie Deane and her fantastically funky band play the classic cuts from artists including Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Etta James, Otis Reading, Chaka Khan and others, together with original material from her recent album 'Set Me Free'.
Lizzies voice emulates both the soft, sweetly emotive and raw, heartfelt belting lines associated with the classic divas. An infectious and dynamic performing artist, she contemporises her musical influences which include Aretha Franklin, James Brown, The Jacksons, Etta James, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Otis Reading, Janis Joplin & Ray Charles.
Having performed and toured with many highly-acclaimed artists including Pee Wee Ellis & Fred Wesley (JB Horns), Carleen Anderson, Martha High, Jocelyn Brown, Mica Paris and Kim Mazelle, Lizzie is stepping out of the shadows as an artist and performer in her own right, having assembled a fabulous band from the gifted pool of musicians that she has worked with.
