For the weekend of June 26th and 27th, Comix is getting a delicious blend of comic styles when Lizz Winstead will headline and Kumail Nanjiani will feature. These two are amazing separately, but a force to be reckoned together.
Lizz is best known as the co-creator of both The Daily Show and Air America, and when she’s not helping to create groundbreaking pop culture phenomena, she has appeared on HBO’s Women of the Night, Comedy Central Presents, and on comedy stages around the country.
Kumail moved to NYC from Chicago in 2007, and has been performing constantly since then, earning him ECNY’s Best Male Standup in 2008. He has been featured on Saturday Night Live and The Colbert Report, done standup on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and will soon be seen as a character on Comedy Central's Michael and Michael Have Issues.
