Liz Mamorsky's fourth solo exhibition at Future Studio Gallery features her oil on canvas DREAM MONSTERS; which are, in her words, "the hypnagogic images that flutter on my eyelids in the fugue state immediately preceding sleep. Creatures morph and melt as I surrender to the surreal movies of my mind, and then I'm gone. My paintings are the memories culled from this magical state. "Previous shows with the gallery have featured her sculptural Artbots, Robobits, and Drawn Miniatures on Amate barkskin. Come meet Liz at the Opening Reception and enjoy Mel Knox's Uvaggio wines!

Future Studio Gallery is also the home of the 22 foot tall Chicken Boy, aka The Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles, where he is installed on the roof, guarding over the space... A must see! http://futurestudio.typepad.com/chicken_boy/

Mamorsky's studio, Lizland (lizland.com), is based in San Francisco and has been described as "an adult's playhouse - filled to the rafters with paintings, drawings and reclaimed materials of all ilk." She is currently featured in San Francisco's Contemporary Jewish Museum's Invitational, "Do Not Destroy: Trees, Art, and Jewish Thought."
