Living generously is not only for wealthy philanthropists, as the story of One Paycheck Away proves. After sharing their stories, talents, and dreams with each other, a group of homeless men living at an Indianapolis shelter formed One Paycheck Away, the only homeless advocacy group run entirely by the homeless.

A panel discussion with One Paycheck Away participants and homeless advocates will explore the personal journey into homelessness, the importance and shortcomings of charities and traditional philanthropy, and the next steps for fighting homelessness in Indianapolis.

Panelists include DeAmon Harges, artist and roving listener for Broadway United Methodist Church and Mapleton Fall Creek Development Corporation; Glenda Hoffman, Centered Around Christ Inc.; Anita Graiser, Trusted Partners; and Mark Little, founder and editor, One Paycheck Away.

Donations requested.

Presented by One Paycheck Away and Lockerbie Central United Methodist Church.
