Liverpool Philharmonic once again joins together with our neighbours on Hope Street, for a family friendly Open Day as part of Hope Street Feast.

The Open Day is your chance to explore all that Liverpool Philharmonic has to offer, including free performances in the Auditorium by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Vasily Petrenko), Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Orchestra,West Everton Super Strings, the Irish Sea Sessions, and Rhos Orpheus Male Choir. Outside, on our ‘After 8’ stage, you can catch more free performances by artists including Sam Lee, Meabh O’Hare and Pauline Scanlon.

We’ll also host free (but ticketed) sessions in the Rodewald Suite designed to help you learn more about music. Tim Lihoreau from Classic FM will present ‘Discover the Classics’ taster sessions, focusing on the music of Stravinsky, and BBC Radio Merseyside’s Spencer Leigh and Billy Butler will reminisce about their musical lives in Liverpool. Don’t miss the Question and Answer session with musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Kids can enjoy the instrument petting zoo where they can have a go on a variety of instruments. And look out for special discount ticket offers on the day!
