Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival: Alif Ensemble July 15, 2012

A new project presented for the Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival and commissioned for the London 2012 Festival, the finale of the Cultural Olympiad.

The outstanding oud player Khyam Allami brings together a group of musicians, from both traditional and contemporary backgrounds, from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt and Iraq for a beguiling blend of inspiring new acoustic and electronic music.
