Livemercial™ Ghoulish Digital Cocktail Hour October 30, 2008

Livemercial™ gets into the spirit of the Halloween season with its monthly Digital Cocktail Hour, featuring a costume contest, art auction and update on plans for the alliance of digital companies in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago region.

This month’s event will take place Oct. 30 from 5-7 p.m. at the livemercial Technology Center, 3400 Mariposa Dr., Valparaiso (the former Natural Ovens bakery dome). In addition to networking, entertainment and refreshments, the Digital Cocktail Hour will include a costume contest with prizes awarded for best costume.

An art auction will also take place, featuring artwork from the clients of Opportunity Enterprises (www.oppent.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting self-sufficiency and life choices for challenged individuals. Monies raised by the auction will benefit Opportunity Enterprise, and attendees will get a preview of organization’s upcoming ARTability Art Show and Sale, taking place on Nov. 20.

Livemercial CEO Johnny Mathis, Jr., will provide attendees with an update on the progress being made toward the establishment of an alliance of digital companies in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago region. The goal of the alliance, which is being spearheaded by livemercial, is to bring together new and established technology ventures to provide business support and networking opportunities, as well as to encourage economic development to help the region emerge as a technology powerhouse.
