After leaving the Commodores, Lionel Richie became one of the most successful male solo artists of the '80s, arguably eclipsed only by Michael Jackson and Prince during his '80's heyday. After some low-profile recordings during the late 90s and 2001, Richie returns 'Coming Home,' featuring the single 'I Call It Love,' which recently earned Richie a No. 1 hit on Billboard's Adult R&B chart.

My family and I had the opportunity to see Lionel Richie at the Opera House on Saturday night, the 11th. My daughter, who is 4 years old, Lionel Richie's fan, was the one who got a lovely kiss from Lionel Richie on the stage. That made our day...our night, and even more than that. That night, that moment will be in our hearts forever.
