Emma Entertainment is extremely proud to introduce multi-platinum selling artists Linkin Park’s first ever performance in China as part of the band’s worldwide Minutes To Midnight Tour. The concert marks a historic first for an international rock band to perform at a stadium in China and is scheduled to take place Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 7:30 pm in the prestigious Shanghai Hongkou Stadium. Chevrolet’s sponsorship brings to Chinese Rock and Roll fans a surge of excitement incorporating American auto culture and music culture in addition to a splendid audio and visual performance.

Tickets are on sale by telephone via Emma’s 24-hour, toll free National Hotline, 400-707-9999 and online at www.emma.cn and at all Emma Ticketmaster retail locations. The Linkin Park concert is expected to generate high demand from fans in China and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Beijing-based rock band, Thin Man, will open the show.

After the May release of the band’s third album, Minutes to Midnight, Linkin Park launched its 2007 World Tour. Following a string of top-selling European US tour dates, the band heads to Asia, with Shanghai as the only stop in Mainland China.

Linkin Park is Chester Bennington (vocals), Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad Delson (guitar), Joe Hahn (DJ), Dave “Phoenix” Farrell (bass), and Mike Shinoda (vocals). They have earned two Grammy Awards, for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2002 with their hit single “Crawling” and for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z in 2006 for the innovative “Numb/Encore.” Linkin Park has sold 40 million records worldwide since their debut in 2000. The Diamond-Certified Hybrid Theory alone has sold more than 18 million copies. In addition, Linkin Park established Music For Relief in January 2005 to help aid victims of world catastrophes and combat global warming. For more information, visit MusicForRelief.org

Their third critically acclaimed album, Minutes to Midnight, was snapped up by 623,000 Linkin Park fans during the album’s first week in US stores, 2007’s highest debut-week sales total. It also debuted at #1 in the U.K., Germany, France, Switzerland, Norway, Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa, Italy, Sweden, and Ireland and has already been certified platinum in Australia, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and France. The album, co-produced by the legendary Rick Rubin and band frontman Mike Shinoda, took 14 months to write and record. This intensive process resulted in the recording of over one hundred rough ideas for songs.

Anticipation for the show in Shanghai, China is already enormous. After nearly four years’ waiting, Chinese fans will finally see Linkin Park perform live in concert. The Minutes to Midnight Tour’s Shanghai Concert is being promoted by Emma Entertainment.

“Emma Entertainment is thrilled to bring Linkin Park, one of the world’s top rock bands to mainland China for their first performance ever,” said Jonathan Krane, President & CEO of Emma Entertainment. “Linkin Park’s Chinese fans are going to see a great show and the band will see a new, huge, loyal audience.”

Chevrolet’s connection with music dates back a number of years, and includes the Seventh CCTV-MTV Music Awards in 2005, the musical drama “Lion King” in 2006, the latest smash musical “Mama Mia” and now Linkin Park’s first concert in China. Chevrolet consistently utilizes its “young and dynamic” characteristic to impact enthusiastic people who love music and worship freedom. Linkin Park’s “What I’ve Done” was featured in the recent blockbuster film Transformers; seamlessly connecting automobiles and music.
