Lighthouse Music and Loud Valley October 6, 2011

Lighthouse music is coming to Chicago, IL and you won't want to miss them. Traveling in their 42' school bus painted like a fallen Lighthouse, I'd say it would be near impossible to miss this carnival in motion. Even if you don’t see the bus rolling through town, you’re sure to smell it. When this Goliath of a touring vehicle rolls by you’ll be treated to the enticing smell french fries, chinese food, donuts or fried chicken because it runs on 100% recycled vegetable oil. Lighthouse Music will be performing at Double Door on October 6 and it's a show you won't want to miss.

The group consists of five young multi-instrumentalists who rotate from weird instrument to even weirder instrument the entire show and never lose a beat in the process. This avant-garde rock/jazz/roots show will make your hair stand up and your eyes bulge. With nothing but a projector lighting their faces and splashing unusual french films all over the wall and audience, the atmosphere alone is captivating. The show begins at 8 and the insanity begins not long after.
