Seattle Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Mustang Survival, Rehab Without Walls and the Coast Guard Auxiliary, is again sponsoring a low cost Life Jacket Sales Program.
Jacket sizes are available for infants, youth, teens, and adults in small, medium, large, XL and XXL. The cost for all sizes of jackets is just $20.00. Purchasers under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Fitters will be on site
to help purchaser choose the correct size.

Jackets may be purchased with cash, check or credit card.

Washington State law requires children ages 12 and under to wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket or life vest on vessels less than 19 feet long. In addition, there must be a life jacket on board for each person older than 12 years
Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death among children ages 1 – 14 years old. Wearing a life jacket saves lives.
