The ACADEMi of Life (TAoL) presents an evening of Concert and Conversation with Emmy Award-winning composer, author, and philanthropist, Peter Buffett, at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, 7:00pm.

Life Is What You Make It: A Concert and Conversation with Peter Buffett, is a 90-minute live performance featuring Peter Buffett on piano, accompanied by cellist Michael Kott. With humility and candor, Buffett takes us on an intimate journey of his life sharing his deep respect for the well being of others. His profound storytelling and meaningful music will leave you deeply moved and inspired. Buffett is a truly spiritual man who uses “his gift of music to be the voice of those who don’t have a voice.”

Following Buffett’s performance a conversation will be moderated by Elizabeth Lesser, spiritual author and co-founder of the Omega Institute.

The event is the live companion to Buffett’s recent book, Life Is What You Make It, which debuted at #4 on the New York Times Best Seller Hardcover Advice list and has been described by Bill Clinton as, “a wise and inspiring book that should be required reading for every young person seeking to find his or her place in the world.”
