September 11, 2011 will set the tone for the fourth annual Life Changing Lives - One Nation. One Heart. Gala held at the City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. This special evening will honor the brave men, women and children who lost their lives on that fateful day ten years ago and will also shine a spotlight on our nation’s heroes who continue to inspire the best in all of us. Proceeds raised will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, the Muhammad Ali Center, The Joe Foss Institute, Pretend City Children’s Museum and Chapman University.

This year's Life Changing Lives Gala will be another star-studded red carpet event featuring live musical performances, a live auction and a moving tribute to this year's honorees. This year Life Changing Lives will honor three iconic men whose professional and humanitarian accomplishments have made them worthy of celebration. Boxing champion and humanitarian Muhammad Ali, the highly decorated retired Air Force Major General William Lyon and successful entrepreneur Ambassador George Argyros will all be in attendance to accept their awards. Lieutenant General William G. Boykin (ret) will also make a special appearance on behalf of the Joe Foss Institute to discuss the importance of instilling patriotism back into our schools.

The evening will feature performances by GRAMMY Award winning artist Robin Thicke, International platinum selling recording artists The Canadian Tenors and “American Idol” Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze. A very special rendition of the national anthem will be performed by Firefighter Paramedic Humberto Agurcia, who will be joined onstage by the Los Angeles County Fire Department Honor Guard. As Humberto sings the final verse, attendees will witness another symbol of our freedom as the bald eagle Challenger flies overhead and across the room to start the program. Emmy-Award winning host Roy Firestone will serve as emcee throughout the night and guests will enjoy a gourmet four-course menu designed by celebrity chef Cat Cora.
