Pier 45
San Francisco, California

The SS Jeremiah O'Brien, the only still-operating WW-II Liberty Ship on the West Coast, will steam out under the Golden Gate Bridge to meet and review the myriad of Tall Ships coming to visit San Francisco for the Festival of Sail www.festivalofsail.org , then take its place near the end of the parade line. The parade will traverse the Bay, passing under the Bay Bridge before dispersing to the various piers. Food, live music and complimentary wine/beer/beverage bar are all included in your $100 ticket, available on-line at www.ssjeremiahobrien.org . As on all our cruises, the entire ship, including the 2500 horsepower, 3-story tall steam engine is open for your inspection & enlightenment, all explained by our knowledgeable volunteer crew.
The ship leaves from Pier 45 (Fishermans Wharf) at noon, returning around 4pm.
