April 5, 2009 Liberation Christian Church launches a permanent presence in the St. Louis community. It is no coincidence that the launch date of Liberation is 41 years after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. The Bible recounts the story of the Israelites wandering for 40 years in the dessert before entering the promise land on the 41st year. Just as the United States seems to have walked out of a desert of racial doubt about the electability of an African American for president, Liberation believes seeks to be the promise land for St. Louisians who are tired of wandering in the wilderness of racism, intolerance, and religion. Liberation Christian Church believes people can worship across color, culture and class lines.

Liberation Christian Church

Friends/Family,

On April 5, 2009 the church I've been working on will begin weekly services. For me it's a dream come true, and my birthday.
If you're in town come celebrate with us, if you're out of town send up a prayer at 12:00noon for us!

Be Blessed Dietra
